DeKalb High School Senior Session {DeKalb IL Senior Photographer}

Let me just say this, high school senior photography is in one word, FUN.  These young adults, finishing up their senior year of high school, have so much to look forward to.  And, they embrace the 1-2 hours of professional photography that is focused just on them!

For this beautiful DeKalb High School senior session, we had the trifecta of a great photo shoot: an amazing senior, beautiful weather, and great location options.  Swoon!  Throw in a few adorable outfit changes, a visit to the incredible Ellwood House in DeKalb, then onto the DeKalb High School softball field, next a quick stop at Northern Illinois University, and voila – we were able to cover all of the ground this amazing senior asked for!  To capture the best light, we spread this photography session out over two beautiful summer evenings.

Summer outdoor photos do require packing a few things: cold water, bug spray, and some fun music never hurts, either!  We will walk, sit, talk, laugh, look for the best light, take breaks, and envision what the mom and senior want to do with their professional photos.  Seniors tend to like photo books, metal prints, and thin wraps.  Photo books are a great keepsake for mom and dad, too!

Many, many congrats “S”, as you prepare for an incredibly bright future ahead!  I can’t wait to see where the future takes you after high school!
