When this Kaneland High School senior’s mom contacted me between her son’s junior and senior year to schedule their senior portraits for early fall, I knew that her son was an Eagle Scout and that we would have to find the perfect location in the great outdoors! Luckily, his mom knew of a new eagle sculpture from an old tree in a local park, so we made sure to include that as one of our stops. We were fortunate to have some pops of fall color and a cool breeze as we walked through this park before sunset. And, we couldn’t miss out on a few photo opps at the Maple Park Fire Department where “J” works part-time! I love it when we are able to incorporate items or locations with meaning for seniors and their families.
Senior year is BUSY for not only the seniors but for their parents. J’s mom was on her game and scheduled his session before winter hit and before the mad rush before graduation set in. This also allowed them time to order professional prints and products in time for graduation.
Thank you, J (and mom!), for such a nice senior session. The guys at the Maple Park Fire Department were great sports, the eagle added such a nice touch to your senior gallery, and the photos with your sweet little sis and parents are ones to treasure for years to come! Best wishes for a fun graduation weekend and an awesome summer!
