As a photographer for Aurora, IL, scheduling senior portraits in a unique location is always exciting when we’re planning your senior portraits! This senior’s family had their location of the Aurora Country Club picked out and ready to go. They are members there, it has a piano for this talented senior to share his musical talents, and the location holds great memories for the whole family.
G is a Kaneland High School Class of 2018 senior and has been very involved with their performing arts department. So of course he had his own tuxedo to add to his outfit choices, score! After a few shots in the classic black and white tux (also Kaneland colors!), it was time to be a typical senior and change into outfits that are more comfortable and how he and his parents remember his senior year. Time to change into a Chicago Blackhawks hat, a baseball hat, and a winter coat, and then we headed outdoors to the beautiful grounds of the country club for some more relaxed and natural photos. Really cool old trees, water, trails, this place had it all and gave us great variety for G’s senior portfolio.
Tips for awesome senior photos: read my welcome guide, which gives you tips on what to bring, what to wear, and what to expect. Be prepared to walk, sit, walk some more, smile, laugh, and just be you. Being yourself is truly the most important think you can do! And thank your parents for helping you do this. These memories will be great to share with your own family someday!
Thanks, G and G’s mom, for entrusting me to capture some very important memories as part of senior year. I enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to working with you again in the future. Best of luck on your next chapter, G!!
