Hello and welcome to Laura Gampfer Photography! I specialize in portraits for Batavia, IL and especially in one of my all-time favorites, senior portraits. As a Batavia, IL photographer, one of the most awesome parts of my job is meeting new families, like K and her wonderful parents and sweet pup here! I recently donated a portrat session to the Batavia Music Buffs non-profit organization, and K’s parents bid on this silent auction item and won! So we scheduled K’s senior photos for spring of her senior year!
There are many reasons to take senior portraits in the spring of your senior year: your schedule might be more flexible, you might be done with college applications and paperwork, and yes, flowering trees!! Our location in beautiful Geneva, IL, had several flowering trees in bloom, so we make sure to take advantage of spring’s beauty while we were out walking around.
K brought her absolutely well-behaved dog with for her senior portraits, as she’s an important part of the family! She was so obedient, happy, and clearly loved! When she wasn’t joining us in photos, dad was in dog-duty and they enjoyed the park. It’s always nice to have an extra set of hands when dogs are at sessions! And don’t forget a secure leash, collar, and plastic bags, too.
And let’s talk outfits for senior portraits. K absolutely nailed it! Gorgeous, flowing dresses with cute prints. Colors that didn’t blend in to the natural environment around us. And the cutest jewelry and shoes to match it all!
Thank you, K, and to your wonderful parents, for a truly beautiful senior session! You were a pleasure to work with!
