This senior and her mom picked two of my favorite seasons to combine their senior portrait session: winter and spring of senior year! As a senior portrait photographer for St. Charles High School and other high schools in Kane County, Illinois, I love dividing sessions in different seasons for some gorgeous variety. As a senior at St. Charles High school and a very busy Team U.S.A. Figure Skater (who seriously travels and ice skates all over the world!!), we knew finding two days where the weather would cooperate with schedules might be tough, but they worked and the results, awesomeness!
For G’s winter outdoor senior photos, we knew some colorful scarves would add some great color to our surroundings. Throw in some cute boots and a great smile, and voila, beautiful winter portraits!
For her spring session, we were so fortunate to pick a day when the flowering trees were, well, flowering! Nothing quite like pinks and purples on tree limbs to add color to senior photos.
After G’s photos were finished, we scheduled their viewing appointment at my home office in Elburn, Illinois. At viewing appointments, we talk about what you want to do with your beautiful photos, how you want to display them, if you’d like to see any additional images in black and white, and you get to touch and feel all of the professional prints and products that are available in your online gallery. It’s a great time to help you figure out your final vision for your portraits!
Thanks to G and her awesome assistant mom, P! Moms and dads are great for carrying water, accessories, and telling cheesey jokes, too! 😉 And G, I can’t wait to see where your next adventure takes (or skates!) you!!!
